This artwork is titled “chashme badduur” which literally means “keep the evil eye far away.”
It was placed inside the Khaadi store at Lucky one Mall as an installation for people to get selfies.
The artwork includes fierce, fashionable women who are clad in intensely-patterned outfits representing the Khaadi woman. They have dramatic expressions on their faces, posing with pretty plants in greenhouses. There is plenty to explore in the artwork from small insects like dragon flies to little details in the flowers. A host of colorful patterns cover each and every available surface in this illustrated world.
